Board of Directors and Officers

Deborah Waldo

President

“My Wilton chapter of life began in 1996 when we moved here so that our daughter could attend Pine Hill Waldorf School.  In addition to the school, we were drawn by Wilton’s natural areas, friendly folks and its small business community. When I learned about the Wilton Alliance and its goal to expand opportunities for enrichment and career opportunities for young people, I was eager to join. Now that I have retired from teaching and we have an empty nest, I am pleased to serve as President of the Wilton Alliance Board.”

Amelia Volz

Treasurer

“After settling my family in Wilton, and seeing myriad of ways to help invest in the town, I looked out for like-minded individuals who saw Wilton’s potential as well. It’s a close-knit yet welcoming community with several avenues to explore for both improving what already exists and creating long term enhancements. By far the most important thing to me is securing the economic and ecological future for the town’s next generations and setting them up for success.”

Jennifer “JB” Beck

Chair of Board

“You don’t just buy a house in Wilton - you find a place to live. So protecting its natural resources, inspiring its people and ensuring its economic health have become my mission. Wilton Alliance is a mechanism for bringing together partner organizations, plans and people to make sure this town has the investments it needs to implement innovative projects that will serve the needs of all who gather here. “

Isabella “Boo” Martin

“I am honored and delighted to join the Founding Board of The Wilton Alliance. I believe strongly in our mission to build a more vibrant community and to preserve our natural resources through a powerful collaboration of town, regional, state and national groups. Wilton has the heart and ‘Right Stuff’ to make this happen. Together, we will keep our beautiful natural surroundings vibrant and accessible to all, while enhancing the “Main Street” vibe of Wilton. With a life time of service, I hope to contribute my experience with fundraising and nonprofit management. I stand ready to make things happen with a committed team of smart, hardworking and diligent individuals.”

Gareth Krausser

”I am dedicated to revitalizing our town and community, with a particular focus on improving education outcomes. With a small but passionate public school system in place and the renowned private Waldorf Schools in our midst, I see great potential for collaboration and innovation to create a brighter future for all.

My main goals in serving on the board for Wilton Alliance are bringing the community together, and empowering young people with diverse opportunities.

I firmly believe that Wilton, NH, and other rural communities like ours hold the key to America's future success and vitality. By working together and embracing a spirit of creativity and collaboration, we can breathe new life into our town, and inspire the next generation.”

Richard “Putt” Putnam

“Having spent all but two months of my seventy-five plus years in close proximity to Wilton, I am driven to see our community thrive as it makes its way into the twenty-first century.”
